a little surprise...

As I mentioned in my previous blog, Jordan and I celebrated two years of marriage on the 5th.  But we didn't actually get to celebrate until the 16th.  We decided to keep it simple with dinner and a movie. The day before our date, I just had this feeling like something was off with my body...a feeling I had felt before.  So on our way home from our date, we stopped at the store and I grabbed a pregnancy test.  Sure enough, it came back POSITIVE!

We are so excited! I can't believe our Josiah is going to be a big brother! My first appointment is scheduled for August 16th with Dr. Haskins...the same doctor who delivered me when I was born!

We finally announced our news to everyone this past weekend.  Some were very surprised but everyone seemed to be excited.

So far I have been feeling pretty good...I get a little light headed every once in awhile but I know that it could be worse. When I get to feeling this way, I just remember that it will all be worth it in the end!

a little catch up...

Holy smokes! So much has happened in the last two+ months:

*May 2nd was Jordan's last Sunday as the student pastor at Champion Fellowship
*On May 26th, Josiah turned 9 months and weighed in at 22 lbs and 29" long!
*On May 31st, we moved to Mt. Enterprise with my parents
*On June 20th, Jordan was called to be the pastor of Heritage Parks Baptist Church in Appleby
*On June 27th, Josiah started walking at 10 months!
*On July 5th, Jordan and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary
*On July 7th, we moved to Garrison to be closer to Heritage Parks

To say that the last few weeks have been overwhelming would be a huge understatement! But "I think" that things are finally slowing down a little bit. One can only hope, right?

And with everything having been so busy, I've been trying to still take a lot of pictures of Josiah. I can't believe he is almost one already!
