Josiah Neal {First Birthday}

My baby boy is now a big one year old!  Jordan's parents came to stay with us in Garrison and we had a Veggie Tale themed party for him.  He had an absolute blast and we really enjoyed getting to celebrate him with our family and friends.  The only part he didn't like very much was the cake. Crazy, huh?

Baby #2 {8 weeks 3 Days}

Yesterday was my first prenatal visit with Dr. Haskins.  We had an ultrasound and saw our baby's heartbeat for the first time at 170 BPM...strong little thing! We were also given a due date of March 28, 2011.  I am so thankful that I will not have to go all the way through another hot, Texas summer while bring pregnant!

Can I add that I did not miss the first trimester of pregnancy? I forgot how horrible morning sickness is...but when I look at Josiah, I'm reminded just how worth it it all is!

Prayers Please!

Yesterday was Jordan's last day as the pastor of Heritage Parks Baptist Church.  I won't go into all the details since this is a public blog, but it pretty much comes down to the fact that the church could no longer afford a pastor and they really shouldn't have hired one in the first place.  Long story short right there.

Thankfully, we have until December to find a new place to live but we will only receive a paycheck through the end of August.

So here we are, almost one year later, in the same position we were in right before Josiah was born- pregnant, jobless, funds running low, and nothing looking promising in terms of a job.  It's the perfect situation for God to step in with all His power and provide something out of nothing.  Though our faith is strong, this is still hard.  Living in five different houses since Josiah was born has really taken its toll on me.  I yearn for a place of my own to make a home for my family and to settle down.

Please be in prayer for us over this matter.
