I'll try to stay in order:
On September 4th, we traveled to Bowie to celebrate Labor Day weekend with Jordan's family. While there, we took family pictures:
On September 13th, Jordan had an interview with First Baptist Church in Vernon, Texas (1.5 hours from Bowie) for a youth pastor position. Right after the interview, the search committee extended a call to us and we accepted! The very next day, we went house hunting. We found a house we loved, placed an offer which was accepted and we close on the house October 19th! (I told you it's been a whirlwind!) That Wednesday we met the youth group and that Friday we packed up the house in Garrison and brought it all to Bowie. We commuted from Bowie to Vernon, until a church member offered us his loft to stay in until we close on our house. What a blessing that has been!
I am so excited about this new chapter in our lives...a new church family and a new people to love...a new house...and a new baby on the way! Thank you God!
