Easter {2010}

We got to celebrate Josiah's first Easter with his Gammy and Bobpa here in Brenham.  They came to visit for a few days and we had a great time! Josiah was just a little spoiled.  He ended up with three Easter baskets!

Josiah Neal {8 months}

Josiah started crawling on April 20th (just shy of 8 months old)! Boy has this milestone changed my world...He is EVERYWHERE!...such a curious little fellow...And with the crawling came pulling up on everything...this is all happening so fast!

Josiah Neal {6 months}

Since my last blog post, Josiah has started eating solid foods.  I've been making his baby food myself instead of buying the jars that are full of preservatives and a bunch of other unmentionables.  It takes some work but it's worth it to me to know that he is eating healthy.  This is what he has had so far: avocados, bananas, sweet potatoes, apples and green beans.  Soon we will be adding carrots, peas, pears, plums, and pureed chicken.  So far, Josiah is not a big fan of baby food. (except for avocados)...Do I have a picky eater on my hands already? Maybe it just takes time....

Despite his picky eating habits, the boy isn't hurting.  At 6 months of age he weighs 20.14 lbs and is 27" long!

Did I mention that Josiah is sitting up all by himself now too? Well, he is! I'm so proud of him but sad at the same time because my baby is growing so fast! I want to capture every minute of it.  Hence, all the pictures...

 

December {2009}

So much has happened since my last blog post...here are the highlights:

1. I turned 22
2. Jordan turned 23
3. we moved into a rent house right beside the church
4. my parents and Trevor came to Brenham to celebrate Christmas with us
5. we celebrated Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in Bowie, Texas
6. Josiah cut his first tooth on Christmas Day
7. Josiah had his 4 month check up and weighed in at 19 lbs!
8. Steven and Ashley brought the New Year in with us in Brenham

Did I mention that it snowed on Josiah's first Christmas? Well, it did!
