This mother's day was so very special. It started off with the boys bringing home crafts from school that I will cherish always. Then we traveled to my parent's house and surprised my mom. She had no idea that we were coming and I can't believe we actually kept it from her! While there, Jordan and I went on a date and he took me to pick out my mother's day gift. Of course, I chose books! While we were in Mt. Enterprise, we picked blackberries, flowers and honeysuckle with the kids. That Saturday Addy Jo and I went shopping with my mom and we had a blast! Then we had family over over for lunch and gave Nana and Mom their gifts. On the way back home to Nederland, we stopped for ice-cream. It was a great weekend! I cherish my role of being a mom and I thank God every day for my children and for my own mom and nana!
