6th Anniversary and Independence Day {2014}

We spent this past Thursday through Saturday in Mt. Enterprise.  The church office is closed on Fridays so since the 4th of July fell on a Friday this year, Jordan and the staff got Thursday off as well.  So we left right after church Wednesday night.  Thursday morning, Dad took Jordan and the boys out to the deer lease and Mom took Addy Jo and I to get a pedicure.  Addy Jo actually fell asleep on the way to Nacogdoches and stayed asleep in her car seat right beside me as I had my pedicure....it was pure relaxation!    Thursday night, Jordan and I left the kids with mom and dad and headed to Lufkin to celebrate our 6th Anniversary. We ate at Logan's, watched Maleficent at the movie theater, walked around the mall,  drove through Starbucks and ran in the rain to go into Academy where we bought our anniversary gifts.  It was a great night.  I am so blessed that God have me Jordan as a husband and I look forward to many more years with him.

On Friday, we all went out to Lake Stryker to eat catfish, swim and watch fireworks.  We had a blast especially the kids.  Addy Jo stayed awake right up until right before the fireworks and slept through the whole display! We headed back to Lawton on Saturday evening, exhausted but with lots of memories. : )
