Although we moved almost a month ago on September 1st, I have yet to blog about it. Anyone who has moved with small children probably understands why...better yet, anyone who has ever moved probably understands! It's no small task. It is mentally and physically exhausting. Multiply that by a hundred if you have three small children! Although we have moved A LOT in our six+ years of marriage, it had been over two years since our last move and I kind of forgot what all it entailed.
Thankfully, the hard stuff is over and we are getting settled in. We absolutely love it here! Our church family at Hillcrest have been amazing. They have shown us more love, help, and generosity than I ever would have imagined. I'm so thankful that God chose Jordan to be the pastor here and I am looking forward to the Lord using us for His glory here in Nederland.
As far as the kids go, they have done remarkably well with the transition. There have been moments that I could tell that all of it has taken a toll on them but for the most part, they have transitioned easily. They love Hillcrest as well and they talk about their new church and new friends all the time. It thrills mine and Jordan's hearts!
