Addy Jo {28 weeks}

I can't believe that I am already in my third trimester and seven months pregnant! It really does go by so much faster the more kids you have. I have mixed feelings about that.  In one sense, I'm glad that it is going by so fast because the summer heat is now on us and my boys are not ones to stay inside. In another sense, I'm finding this pregnancy bittersweet because I know it will be my last. God has made that clear to Jordan and I both. If you know me well, then you know that I do not enjoy being pregnant.  However, this time around, I'm trying not to complain as much and just enjoy this last pregnancy the best I can!

How far along: 28 weeks

Maternity clothes: pants...I'm still getting away with regular tops and dresses...stretchy ones, anyway...

Best moment this month: getting to see our Addy Jo via ultrasound...she is already weighing a whopping 2 1/2 lbs! I think it's just in our genes to have big babies.

Miss Anything: getting to eat carbs without thinking twice! A lot of women use their pregnancy to eat whenever and whatever they want.  I, on the other hand, cannot handle the sugar when I am pregnant.  I get extremely light headed and shaky.  I passed my first glucose test but my doctor made me take it again due to my past history.  I should know the results from my second test on Monday.

Movement: still mostly at night when I finally sit down. However, I have been feeling her more during the day too. Her movements are mostly subtle but every once in awhile she gets a little crazy in there.   And she still prefers me to lay on my right side rather than my left.

Food cravings: Fruit!...of all kinds...we went through 6 watermelons in less than 2 weeks! In my defense, I had a lot of help eating them...

Anything making you queasy or sick: this is going to sound really weird...when I had morning sickness and bronchitis for the first three months of this pregnancy, I couldn't hardly get off the couch.  During that time, the boys watched The Lorax on repeat for days.  And Jordan brewed a lot of cinnamon apple tea.  Now, I can't watch The Lorax or smell that tea without feeling queasy...I know it's mental...

Have you started to show yet: ummmm....yes.  definitely yes.

Gender: Girl!

Labor Signs: Braxton Hicks contractions have definitely increased since last month

Belly Button in or out: starting to poke out a bit

Wedding rings on or off: On.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Ask Jordan...I have my days, I'll put it that way...

Looking forward to: her baby shower next month!
